The White Castle will be recruiting employees for its restaurant in Arizona. It is expected to open in September 2019. As the opening day is approaching near, the fast-food chain restaurant revealed on Friday that it is hiring around 130 employees to fill the positions and will organize a hiring event in August.
White Castel will open in next month, officials mentioned. However, the exact opening date has not been revealed, remains a secret. The White Castel restaurant is currently constructed near Scottsdale.
White Castel is expected to have a grand opening, but before that, it will recruit 120 team employees and 10 crew managers. The restaurant is spread across 4,589 square foot and is one of the biggest stand-alone restaurants in Arizona. White Castel is constructed on the ‘Salt River Pima- Maricopa Indian Community’ across the Loop 101 and Via de Ventura, close to Scottsdale.

White Castle is also organizing a Mega Hiring Event, scheduled from August 21 to August 24, and timing 9 am to 7 pm. The candidates may receive ‘immediate job offers’ in the hiring event. The Mega Hiring Event will be conducted at the Hampton Inn Scottsdale Riverwalk 9550 E. Talking Stick Way in Scottsdale.
Candidates applying are requested to carry 2 forms of ID along with them for the onsite interview.
Arizona’s White Castle location, operating partner, Orlondo Lopez mentioned that he is searching for
“people with high energy, love to have a good time, very friendly and understand good customer service.”
Lopez has been serving the company for almost 19 years; he joined as a team member, back in 2000, in Hammond Indiana at the White Castle and worked to become the Cincinnati’s district supervisor, of Ohio region.
Lopez further said,
“It was my first-time job, no experience. I guess the supervisor took a chance, gave me an opportunity, and I fell in love with the job.”
Lopez knows that everyone in Arizona is excited and happy to have White Castle in the Valley, and we too are excited about it.
Currently, White Castle runs around 400 restaurants across 13 states.
Team members pay will start at $13 per hour. They are responsible for customer service, drive-thru, cleaning, preparing orders and operating the cash register, as per White Castle press release. The important thing is that no prior experience is needed; White Castle will offer job training for all the new employees.
The crew managers pay starts at 17$ per hour. They are responsible for managing shifts, inventory and handling cash and customer service. Apart from this, they should also help make orders and prepare them. Candidates applying for crew manager post should have experience of 1 year in management or food service.
